Expand your catalog with shared instruction teachers

Wisconsin eSchool Network’s shared instruction model enables districts to expand digital learning beyond their local staffing capacity. Through our member-to-member network, districts access Wisconsin-licensed teachers employed by participating member districts and shared across programs.

This collaborative approach allows schools to offer specialized or hard-to-staff courses — such as Criminology, Forensic Science, or world language electives — in a cost-effective way. Members may access shared instructors or contribute their own teachers to help offset costs.

WEN does not employ teachers; we provide the structure that ensures equitable access to high-quality, Wisconsin-licensed instruction while supporting districts in building sustainable local capacity over time.

“Our partnership with WEN has proven to be invaluable in our efforts to grow our online and blended programs. We can share resources and teachers across the state to support individual student needs— something we would never be able to sustain as an individual district.”
